There is a very nice blend of the different types of homes in our area. In the Furnace Hills Development we have both single family homes as well as many very nice town homes. The homes overall very reasonably priced for being so close to the Baltimore, DC and Frederick communities.

The initial builder of the development was known as Masonry.
The area the homes are located in is a beautiful blend of a small town suburban living in a country setting. The commute from Westminster to the BWI Airport is approximately one hour. The local airport has runways nearly the same size and length as BWI, but it is not equipped to handle the larger multi-passenger jets and deals with mainly the smaller Cessna type of private or small business jet air traffic.
Maryland is known for having many horse farms and rolling country. Westminster seems to be in the center of it all.
The local public school systems have generally always rated among the very best in the state of Maryland.
